We believe that in order to give our patients the best treatment for their oral and overall health, it starts with a relationship. We also believe that it’s important for our patients to get to know us too, because relationships go both ways. We believe that trust is a vital part of this relationship. Everyone should feel comfortable in their own smile and we know that starts with feeling comfortable in our care! That is why we want to introduce you to a very important member of our staff!

Meet Teri Garcia!

Teri Garcia is an incredibly valuable member of our dental team. She’s essentially our in-house advocate for every single one of our patients! She spends her days at Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental ensuring that each patient fully understands their custom dental treatment plan, down to each detail! These personalized dental treatments are designed by the doctor based on each patient’s self-identified priorities. This is important to our staff, because at the end of the day our job is to make sure each patient is happy and comfortable in their own smile!

Teri also guides each patient through the different advised financial options that we offer our patients. She is the best at ensuring our patients are taken care of throughout the entire process, dedicating countless hours to one-on-one consulting. As a patient you’ve probably met Teri at our office and she’s probably helped you out with your own dental treatment plan! Here are a few things you may not know about our dental office all-star, Teri!

Where Did Teri Find Her Passion?

Teri has a deep rooted passion for oral health! This passion grew from her very first dental position, working in a Periodontist’s office. Here she learned just how important it is to have healthy gums. Poor oral hygiene can lead to serious problems for a patient’s gums, as well as the rest of their oral and overall health. This correlation between oral and overall health is known as the Oral Systemic Link and can lead to strokes, heart disease, diabetes and even Alzheimer’s disease! Ensuring that all patients have healthy gums and beautiful smiles is what drives Teri’s passion for dentistry!

Find Out Why Teri Loves Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental!

Teri is going on 3 years here at Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental and she loves it, as well everyone one she works with too! We are a family who cares about our patients and each other, those are the biggest priorities. Teri’s favorite part of working in our office is how patient oriented everyone is. It’s the dedication and care every member of our team shows for patients that truly makes the difference! We asked Teri what she thought the most important dental tip was for our patients was and she said, “Floss only the teeth you want to keep!” Do you see why she’s one of the most supportive members of our dental staff? She’s always looking out for our patients.

There’s More To Teri Than Just Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental!

As much passion as Teri has for Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental and all of our amazing patients, they aren’t the only things that she is passionate about! Most people don’t know that Teri is also a widow, as she lost her first husband to kidney cancer 11 years ago. This greatly affected Teri, showing her that life is full of mystery and that love is the most important thing. This is what eventually lead her to recently remarry a wonderful man named Joe. One of Teri’s favorite things to do is to spend time with Joe. They share a romantic passion in old movies, as well as a love for travel! When they aren’t bowling or watching movies, you can always find them exploring the world!

We believe that everyone, both staff and patients, play an important role in our Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental family! We want our patients to feel just as involved as our staff, this is why we believe it is important to share our stories with you!
