Why We’re Proud to be a Dental Lifeline Volunteer

Here at Wurzbach Family Dental, we care tremendously about our patient’s oral health. We are fortunate to have such a strong community and recognize the importance of giving back. It’s our duty to help provide oral care to those in need, and this is why we are honored to be volunteers for Dental Lifeline Network.

What is The Dental Lifeline Network?

The Dental Lifeline Network is a nonprofit organization providing access to dental care and education on a national level for people in need – those who can’t afford it, have a permanent disability, the elderly (65+), or are medically fragile. To accomplish their mission, they form collaborative relationships to provide the resources for direct service programs.

There are several programs offered by Dental Lifeline Network:

Donated Dental Services is a program that offers free comprehensive treatments to those with disabilities, the elderly or medically fragile. The individuals assisted through this program are normally unable to afford the treatments and get the public aid that they receive through the program.

Dental HouseCalls brings the dentist’s office to those people who cannot easily travel to the dentist’s and would otherwise go without receiving the necessary care. They are able to provide oral healthcare to people through a fully equipped portable dental office that is transported within a van to provide treatment to patients.

Donated Orthodontic Services Program enables children of low-income families the opportunity to receive orthodontic treatment.
