Since 1989, the doctors at Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental have been providing dental care and custom-made sports mouthguards for athletes in the San Antonio Area. We have helped athletes across all sports and all levels- amateur, college and professional. During practice and season games, dental injuries are the most common injury type sustained by athletes.

HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

In high school athletics, we have helped San Antonio area students in almost every high school, public and private. We provide team sport dental services for sports including football, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer and more.

COLLEGE ATHLETICS

College Athletics is a major part of our San Antonio sports dentistry program. We are the team dentists for University of Texas of San Antonio and Trinity University, and provide comprehensive care for all their student athletes. We have also assisted athletes during the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Regional and Final Four Basketball Tournaments as well as the annual Big 12 Woman’s Soccer Tournament. Patients playing for every major university in Texas have come to Wurzbach Parkway Family Dental to be fitted for a custom-made mouthguard.

PROFESSIONAL ATHLETICS

We were the team dentist for the New Orleans Saints NFL Team, while they were in San Antonio in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. We served the owners, the management, the coaching staff, the trainers, the players, and all their families during their season with us. We served both on the field and in the locker-room at San Antonio. Over the years we have served players from the San Antonio Rampage AHL Hockey team, the San Antonio Spurs NBA Team, and the San Antonio Silver Stars WNBA Team.
